Ways to Toggle Control Panel View in Windows XP

Posted on 23:24 by Unknown
Windows XPIf you are using the Windows XP operating system, then know that you have the liberty to toggle the Control Panel according to your wish. The Control Panel of Windows XP has two views, one is the classic view and the other is category view. The classic view of the Control Panel lists all the items in the same window, whereas the category view groups the items together according to their functionality or behavior and lists them. You can do the toggling by following some simple steps, however if there are issues you may contact the computer repair Los Angeles service for help.

Step 1: Go to the Start menu and open the Control Panel

Step 2: If you want to toggle from the classic view to the category view, you must click on the option that is labeled “Switch to Classic view”

Step 3: If the user wants to toggle form the category view to the classic view, the user must click on the option that is labeled “Switch to Category view”

Users using the category view can click on the link labeled “Other Control Panel options”. This link helps to access Control Panel items which are installed by third-party applications such as NVidia or ATi graphics card options. If you still face problems, contact a reputed remote PC support service immediately.
